Jon is a 2019 graduate of Michigan State University's School of Social Work program, where he obtained his Master's degree. He previously graduated from the University of Michigan in 2015, with a degree in Psychology. Jon has worked in Community Mental Health since 2017 in a variety of settings, including Homeless Shelters, Drug Abuse Counseling Centers, Domestic Violence Shelters, and in the community as a Mental Health Advocate.
Jon believes that anyone can strive for change they desire and achieve their goals, even if they need extra help or direction to get there. He uses a person-centered approach combined with solution focused elements to meet clients where they are and not have a one size fits all approach.
Jon's focus areas of practice include: Depression, Substance Abuse, Anxiety, Coping Skills, Life Transitions
Severe and Persistent Mental Disorders, LGBTQ identities.
