Darlita Paulding is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) with experience working with adolescents, adults and families over the past 15 years. She graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts from Oakland University in Counseling. She has worked in various community settings, including Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), Intensive Family Intervention (IFI), Recipient Rights and Michigan Rehabilitation Services. She also has experience as an educator and in supervisory roles. She is currently a specialist with Intensive Community Treatment Services through the State of Michigan.
Darlita has many years of experience assisting individuals working through anger, depression, anxiety, unhealthy relationships, low self-esteem and stress. She utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution focused therapy (SFT) and brief trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy to help individuals return to and/or maintain their quality of life. She seeks to enhance individuals personal strengths while assisting them in overcoming challenges that they experience in life.
